Crawler, LLC releases Web Security Guard 1.5 beta version

July 19, 2007: A new Web Security Guard 1.5 beta version has been released for testing and features two main enhancements: internationalization (English, Portuguese and Spanish languages to start) and new account management, enabling Spyware Terminator users to post website reviews with their forum account. Additionally, Crawler Toolbar, Web Security Guard's platform, has been redesigned. The following is a list of the most notable Web Security Guard 1.5 beta highlights.

Internationalization
Every aspect of Web Security Guard, including the installer, application and website reports, will be internationalized. Initially, Web Security Guard 1.5 beta supports English, Portuguese and Spanish languages with Czech, Italian, and French following soon.
New User Account ManagementTo improve our current rating and review system, Web Security Guard 1.5 beta allows our users to publish their reviews using their Spyware Terminator forum account. Anonymous reviews are still welcome, however users will find it more useful to review using our account system.

Web Security Guard Database Integration with Spyware Terminator 2.0
Our new version of Spyware Terminator 2.0 uses Web Security Guard's database of websites to power new features as part of Spyware Terminator's Internet Protection. Spyware Terminator 2.0 is currently in beta testing. More information about these new features and the development of Spyware Terminator can be found at
Spyware Terminator Version 2.0 Beta Release News.

Improved Updates Interface
We have improved the interface for Web Security Guard updates. Users will now be able to view the progress of the update process in real time.
New Settings Dialog InterfaceAs suggested by our users, the Web Security Guard 1.5 beta settings window for Internet Explorer has been modeled after the settings window used in our Firefox beta version.

Performance Improvements

The overall performance of Web Security Guard has been improved. Bugs found by our development team and testers or reported by valued Web Security Guard users have also been addressed.

Web Security Guard beta version 1.5 is available for testing in a bundle with Spyware Terminator 2.0 beta. We would like to invite you to test the new features of Web Security Guard 1.5 beta and look forward to receiving your valued feedback at the
